Salt River Tubing in Tonto National Forest

The greatest way to cool off in this summer heat. Grab the kids and your water shoes and hit the rapids in Tonto National Forest. Children must be at least 8 years old and 4 feet tall for tubing and shuttle bus service. The last tube rental is at 2 p.m., so get there early and enjoy a relaxing day on the water. Open Sunday, June 3, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Visit http://www.saltrivertubing.com/ or call 480.984.3305 for more information and ticketing questions. Tickets around $17 a person.

Escape the Room in Scottsdale

If you can’t escape from the heat, then try and escape from the bank vault…or the submarine... or the rec room! No skills necessary; bring the whole family and see who can master the art of escaping. Multiple time slots and themed rooms are available. Visit the Escape the Room Website or call 480.725.3067 for more information and pricing. Put you and your family in the middle of a real-life-mystery.
