Wine. Bruschetta. Fabulous patio seating and beautiful weather. You and your girlfriends, enjoying a night out - at the one, the only: Postino Wine Cafe. With three locations (40th St & Campbell in Phoenix, Central & Camelback, and in downtown Gilbert), you're definitely close to one - and I have one of the best-kept secrets about Postino - the $20 bottle/board nights.
On Mondays and Tuesdays after 8pm, these bottle and board nights - which are quite infamous in my circle of girlfriends - is just what it sounds like. A board of Postino's fantastic and inventive bruschetta (my faves: smoked salmon with pesto and prosciutto with figs & mascarpone) and any bottle from their incredible wine selection for $20. The wine list has everything from the bubbliest prosecco, a steel-cask conditioned chardonnay (DELISH!) to the heartiest reds.

Even in the summer, when waiting outside is slightly warm (ha!), you should be ready to wait for up to an hour for a table on Mondays and Tuesdays - but you can start your bottle early, if you like, and the waitstaff at Postino are always so accommodating. They occasionally accept reservations (for parties of 8+), so if you have a large group, definitely call the day of to reserve a table.
Postino Wine Cafe - no matter which location - is a guaranteed spot for great food and excellent wine, no matter when you visit. It just happens that on $20 bottle/board nights, you get a little more of that excellence - and it's a great reason to get out with your girlfriends. I know I need a break - I bet you could use one, too!
