Rachel Roland is a mom on a mission - exploring beautiful Arizona (and beyond!) with her two little companions, Jeremiah and Sarah, in search of the best restaurants, attractions, and products for you and your children. See what she has in store for your family today!

Last night in Phoenix, the Wiggles (Anthony, Jeff, Murray, and Greg) played at the Comerica Theater.   It was a fun time - our first time going to a 'kids concert' and the kids definitely enjoyed themselves!  (Okay, I'll admit it - I did, too!)

This particular tour - the Wiggles Celebration USA tour - is special in two ways.  First, it's Greg's first time back out on tour in six years.  If you're familiar with Wiggles history, you may already know this, but Greg had a medical condition that prevented him from touring until this year.  Jeremiah, who's a big fan of the "Original" Yellow Wiggle, was relieved to hear this.   Naturally, Greg received a huge welcome from the crowd, which was filled with Wiggle fanatics to casual fans.

This tour is also special because at the end of this year, Greg, Jeff, and Murray will retire from the Wiggles and some fresh faces will take their places - so the Wiggles will never quite be the same again.  Jeremiah and Sarah were both a little sad to hear this, but the new Wiggles (Emma, Lachlan, and Simon) are sure to bring a lot of fun and laughter to the stage, just like their predecessors.

Also appearing on stage were the Wiggles characters Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Captain Feathersword, a silly pirate.  The kids loved seeing the characters they'd been watching for years live on stage!

The show itself is incredibly interactive.  Murray (pictured above) came into the audience twice - the first time to try to read all the signs people brought, and then, he joined Jeff and Greg to collect roses for Dorothy the Dinosaur.  (Tip: If your kids want the chance to hand a rose to a Wiggle - bring a few for Dorothy!  They can't stop and pose for photos, but it's a fun experience.)   There wasn't just entertainment for the kids though, but also, some fun jokes for the parents.  At one point, Anthony said something about a "Philly Cheese Steak" being representative of Phoenix - you could tell this was a completely unscripted part of the show, because they were all laughing quite hard over his mistake.  (Anthony later apologized for the gaffe.)

If you have the chance, you should try to see them in concert - they're currently winding their way through the US - maybe you have a vacation scheduled near a tour stop.  If your kids are fans, I highly recommend it - check out the tour schedule online!
