Chances are, if you're reading this, you're a Mom. You might feel a little unappreciated, tired, exhausted - whether you go to work, stay at home, or work from home. Being a Mom is a lot of hard work - and we all could use a little vacation every now and then. Yes, my friends, I'm talking about a weekend (or even a night) away. No kids, no husband - just friends. And possibly, a fabulous happy hour.

Meet two of my sweet friends - Kim and Mariann. They joined me for a bliss-filled, laugh-saturated, relaxing evening recently at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. This incredibly hip, retro hotel is unlike any other I've had the pleasure of visiting. Upon entering the lobby, unlike a traditional hotel or resort, you don't see the check in desk. You are greeted by a lobby, which is almost completely original in its design, as well as the bar and restaurant, Cafe ZuZu. Happy hour, which runs from 4pm-7pm, Monday through Friday, is a great way to relax and enjoy some time with your girlfriends.

Lucky for us, we were staying the night at the Valley Ho, so there was no driving home that evening. Even better for us - Cafe ZuZu has a fantastic breakfast. Pictured above is the California Eggs Benedict, a meatless, veggie filled eggs benedict that was a delicious morning treat. Cafe ZuZu also serves brunch (1115am-230pm Saturday and Sunday), lunch, dinner, desserts - yum!

On Saturdays and Sundays, they also have a $5 build-your-own bloody mary bar. You pick the vodka, bloody mary mix, and loads of olives, veggies, hot sauce and spices to please your palate. Mine was loaded with garlic-stuffed green olives - which were absolutely delicious. If a bloody mary isn't exactly your beverage of choice, you can order a fresh squeezed juice or delicious coffee.

The Hotel Valley Ho is more than just Cafe ZuZu - stay tuned for more coverage on 'Moms Weekend Away,' coming soon!
