18th Annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival

Offering more than 500 delicious beers to festival0goers, five exciting local musical acts, and a dozen delicious food trucks, this festival will have something for everyone to enjoy. VIP tickets are currently sold out but Super VIP and along with general admission are still available.

2018 Trail Run Series :5k Blevins Bolt at Usery Mountain

The REI Trail Run Series is back, and it’s bigger than ever. Whether you are running your first trail to experienced trail runners, this series is one not to be missed. Participate for $20 which includes REI-branded gear, maps of the course, and post-race refreshments just for runners. Starting at 8:30 a.m., you can get get the chance to win the top three for men’s or women’s placement. So, lace up, stretch and come get your run on with REI. Registration does not include the $6 entry fee into the park.

28th Annual World Championship Hoop Dance Contest

The top American Indian and Canadian First Nations hoop dancers will compete at the Heard Museum for the prestigious World Champion title and cash prizes. This two-day event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at to 5 p.m. and is a shared artistic expression to celebrate, and share honor to Indigenous traditions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Men and women will compete for the chance to call themselves the World Champion Hoop Dancer.
