The spirit of giving was in full swing at The Saguaros’ 36th annual Niteflite Golf & Gala, where members, sponsors, and supporters came together to make a meaningful impact on Arizona’s children. Held November 14-15, the two-day fundraiser set a new record, raising $1.37 million for Saguaros Children’s Charities, an organization dedicated to supporting programs that enrich the lives of kids.
This year’s “Welcome to the Jungle” theme brought both flair and fun to the sold-out golf tournament at McCormick Ranch Golf Club and the gala at The W Scottsdale. From the excitement on the greens to the jungle-themed décor and high-energy celebration at the gala, attendees embraced the mission behind the event: raising funds to improve the lives of children across the state.
“Our goal this year was to surpass $1 million, and I’m extremely proud of our hardworking team for blowing that number out of the water,” said this year’s Niteflite event chair, Simon Assaf. “Things looked a little different at this year’s gala as we took precautions for a rainy night and tented the rooftop of the W. Ultimately, the rain held off and the energy at the jungle-themed gala was unbelievable. Thank you to everyone who joined The Saguaros in this massive effort to support Arizona children’s charities.”
Proceeds from Niteflite will be distributed as grants to local children’s charities, with recipients to be announced in May. The event exemplifies how community engagement, festive celebration, and philanthropy can come together to create meaningful change for Arizona youth. For more: saguaros.com.
