Holiday Train Rides with Santa

Enchanted Island’s Amusement Park will host special holiday event. Ride the magical holiday train, visit with Santa at the North Pole, go sledding in fresh snow and warm up with hot cocoa and candy canes on Dec. 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular prices apply and ride attractions will be open. http://www.enchantedisland.com/specialevents.php

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is open from Dec. 7 to 30, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Enjoy a train ride through festive holiday lights, displays, and on opening night, visit with Santa, enjoy entertainment and see them light the Christmas tree. The Shops at Norterra

Before Christmas, every Thursday in December from 11 a.m. to noon, children can enjoy a special lunch with Santa. Lunch will be hosted by different restaurants each time. Children will be able to dance and sing with Santa and receive a goodie bag. Parents are also able to order lunch ahead of time. Register beforehand by calling 623-582-9599. Tickets are $7 and $4 from each ticket will be donated to Phoenix’s Children’s Hospital.

On Dec. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., take part in the “Cruisin’ With Santa” care show event. Live music, entertainment, face painting, goodie bags, and hot chocolate will also be available at this holiday car show with Santa.
