Sheldon Knapp, founder of Phoenix City Grille (PCG), and Dennis Shaw, owner of PCG announce their latest collaboration — Still & Barrel, which is set to open at 5812 N. 16^th St. on Thursday, Feb. 5. This intimate bar, located by its sister concept Phoenix City Grille, is a nod to the owners’ mutual passion for fine bourbon, rare liquors and unique specialty cocktails, combined with their expertise as longtime restauranteurs and desire to create a community for fine spirits enthusiasts.

“Still & Barrel is more than a bourbon bar — it is an experience. We have a collection of allocated, rare and hard-to-find bourbon and whiskey as well as high-end wine, scotch, Irish whiskey, Japanese whisky, tequila, mescal and more,” said Shaw. “We want all our guests to feel like Still & Barrel is a place where they feel comfortable ordering a classic cocktail, a great glass of wine, an exceptional rare whiskey, or one of the many Phoenix City Grille picks that we recommend.”

Still & Barrell offers guests a distinguished liquor collection paired with the culinary excellence of the Phoenix City Grille kitchen. The menu features small plates that are perfect for sharing as well as full meals that complement any liquor selection.

Still & Barrel will also feature specialty cocktails such as the Black Tie Manhattan featuring S&B Jack Daniel’s Rye Private Barrel, Hendricks Gin, Carpano Classico, dry vermouth, Maraska Green Walnut Liqueur, and Giffard Peche de Vine; the Mile High Club made with Diplomatcio Rum, Avua Amburana, Chinola Passion Fruit, real vanilla and lime juice; the Still House Barrel Aged Old Fashioned with PCG and Still & Barrel Private Pick, Trinity Bitters and simple syrup; the Smoke Show made with Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, Chinola Pineapple, Select Aperitivo, real pineapple and agave; and The Last Word featuring Par Les Peres Chartreuse V.E.P., maraschino liqueur, lime juice and Tanqueray 10.
