Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

On Friday, May 5, Cave + Post Trading Co. (509 W McDowell Rd Ste.102, Phoenix, AZ 85003) will host an all-day First Friday Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring live music, a food truck, a Shinola trunk show and a Freenote Cloth trunk show. The free event is open to the public, starts at noon and goes through the evening.

“When we realized Cinco de Mayo and First Friday were happening on the same day, we knew May 5 would be the perfect day for a community celebration at Cave + Post,” says Cave + Post Trading Co. owner Patrick Burch. “We invite all our regulars, neighbors, and anyone who’s been meaning to check out our new location to come join the fun. Food, music, and all the best products from Shinola and Freenote Cloth are going to make this an event to remember!”

Cave and Post, recently named Phoenix’s Best Men’s Store and Gift Boutique by the New Times, moved into its new expanded space in the former Easley’s Fun Shop at 5th Avenue and McDowell Road (509 W McDowell Rd Ste.102, Phoenix, AZ 85003) in November. The new spot includes 1,500 square feet of men’s apparel, accessories, home goods, personal care items, and one-of-a-kind gifts.

“This location is incredible,” says Cave + Post Trading Co. owner Mary Burch. “The neighborhood is so vibrant and walkable, and we’ve had a number of customers become regulars and friends over the past several months. We’re really looking forward to partnering with two of our favorite lines, Shinola and Freenote Cloth, to showcase their incredible quality products, when they host trunk shows in the shop on May 5!”
