Description
The highly anticipated Seven Chefs Dinner returns this February 16, 2020 with an all-star lineup of the state’s top culinary talents teaming up for a one-night-only multi-course feast. Held as part of Devour Week and the 11th annual Devour Culinary Classic, and hosted at The Gladly in Phoenix on Sunday, February 16 from 4 – 7 pm, the Seven Chefs Dinner brings together a septet of the state’s best homegrown culinary talent, with each chef whipping up different course, and all paired with au-natural wines by Chris Lingua of Sauvage Bottle Shop at the Churchill in downtown Phoenix.
Named after the ever-growing collective of top local chefs, and friends, who first cooked together at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City, the Seven Chefs Dinner was launched to promote the Arizona cooking scene, and help ‘bring Beard back to AZ.’ (Considered the Oscars of the culinary world, Scottsdale’s own F&B’s Charleen Badman won the 2019 award last spring, ending a decade-plus drought for Arizona chefs.)
Co-hosted by Bernie Kantak and Ben Graham of The Gladly and Citizen Public House, the 2020 Seven Chefs Dinner will be emcee'd by chefs Justin Beckett of Southern Rail and Beckett's Table, and Scott Holmes of Little Miss BBQ. Plus feature the combined culinary talents of Jacob Cutino (Cutino Sauce Co.), Nick LaRosa (Nook Kitchen), Stephen Jones (the larder + the delta), Josh Hebert (Hot Noodles, Cold Sake and Posh Culinary), Kelly Fletcher (Chzburgr) and Country Velador (Super Chunk & New Wave Market).
