French Designer Jeweler is pleased to welcome Carolyn Tyler and showcase a selection of her elegant handmade jewelry pieces this Thursday, December 12 through Saturday, December 14.

Tyler often refers, in jest, to her jewelry as “pirate booty” due to its somewhat “buried treasure” look and appeal with tones of vibrant 22k yellow gold, her signature matte surface texture, and use of gemstones such as opals, pearls, ancient coins, fossils as well as stones that play with light including moonstone, ammolite and more, all which meld to create classic and elegant yet casual pieces that are intended to be worn every day.

Her pieces are inspired by color and her residence of Indonesia, along with spiritual deities and symbols such as Buddha, Hindu god of prosperity Ganesha, Mother Mary, and Jesus, and she draws inspiration from ancient and modern styles — going back to Etruscan, Greek, and Roman, and up to Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Not one to be limited to any point of jewelry history, Tyler absorbs styles and creates jewels that are both timeless and contemporary.

Tyler will be onsite to mix and mingle with guests during the Scottsdazzle holiday-themed Gold Palette ArtWalk from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12 and in store during regular hours Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14.
