Have you ever rappelled down a high-rise? Descend 27 stories and support Special Olympics Arizona on Saturday, December 7th by registering for our Over The Edge event!
How are the two connected? The answer is simple. If you are an individual with intellectual disabilities, you encounter adversities daily. You must have courage to try something that doesn’t come easily to you. They are the inspiration for this event. We are asking our participants to step into the shoes of our athletes. It takes the same amount of courage to go “Over the Edge” as it does for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports.
You can find event information and the registration button here, https://give.classy.org/OverTheEdgeAZ2019. The minimum to participate is fundraising $1,000 – all proceeds benefit SOAZ. You can be creative by hosting a cornhole tournament, asking family and friends or hosting a yard sale.
