On Friday, Nov. 1, the Brophy College Preparatory Mothers’ Guild and Neiman Marcus will host the annual Brophy Fashion Show with proceeds exclusively benefiting the Brophy Financial Aid Fund. This year’s event, themed “Inspire and Ignite,” will take place at the Camelback Inn Scottsdale and feature Art of Fashion presented by Neiman Marcus.

In addition, almost 250 members of Brophy’s senior class will walk the runway dressed in fashions from the Valley’s finest retailers, as well as the Brophy Varsity Shop and the school’s many clubs and sports teams. While the fun and lively event is an annual crowd-pleaser, the Brophy Fashion Show’s fundraising purpose is to dramatically change the lives of deserving young men through contributions to the Brophy College Preparatory Financial Aid Fund. Since 1984, the Brophy Fashion Show has raised more than $7.5 million — funds that allow underserved young men who are academically qualified to receive an exemplary college preparatory education.

The much-anticipated event starts at 10:30 a.m. and includes a social hour, lunch, shopping, raffles, and, of course, spectacular fashions showcased by professional models and Brophy seniors. Co-chairs Leslee Allen and Michelle Roe, both mothers of Brophy seniors, have been planning the event for nearly a year. "We are honored to be continuing the excellence of the Brophy Fashion Show. The students inspire us as we work toward raising funds for financial aid which ensures that young men in our community have an opportunity to attend Brophy. We look forward to celebrating this special day with the Brophy community.”

Brophy president, Ms. Adria Renke, comments, “The annual Fashion Show is such a joyful event! It provides a celebratory opportunity to bring our community together to support the ever-continuing need to provide for students who economically would not be able to attend Brophy without financial aid; to recognize our senior class and hear from them how a Brophy education has impacted their lives; and of course, to enjoy food and fashion with our family and friends.”

Brophy, a Jesuit school, develops Men for Others. Long after the last young man has walked the runway, the good work of the Brophy Fashion Show will continue to light a path for many young men to come.
