“Migrations”

Scottsdale, Arizona– Ancient Sounds of Peace (WYVEAA) co-produced by K2 Enterprise will present Ken Koshio TAIKO EXTRAVAGANZA 2019 “Migrations”taking place at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Artsfor the 5^hannual Ken Koshio’s producing show in Arizona (first one in 2015).

Our past shows have been a big success to reach to a lot of local people as message of Koshio’s Life Beats. The last Audiences commented how they felt connected to the soul and energy throughout this masterpiece of performing art.

The theme of this show is “Migrations”as the art form of drumming beats are roots of our indigenes sprit of intertwine to celebrate and experience the colorful diversity of cultures and generations.

In Human history, for millions years, people have been continuing our own journey from one place to another with the intentions of creating new life and future with hope and dream.Ken Koshio also moved to the united state 20 years ago.

Since ancient times, Taiko in Japanese means drumming beats (太鼓)and ancient time (太古) . They are connecting our ancestry from the past to the future as creating our life beats, influenced by many elements such as nature, history and certain time of your life.

Koshio’s passion is to create the most rewarding experience possible and express the importance of our origin learning from experiences.  This show is to celebrate with different expressions, dynamics of fusion beats, music, dance and vibration for all generation.

This amazing collaboration of diverse cultures together and different style of artistic expressions will be brought to the stage, in tune with the rhythms of nature within our Grand Canyon State of Arizona as worm (胎内) of the earth.

Producer, Japanese folk artist, Taiko player and Peace activist

Ken Koshio is a world class Japanese Taiko (a traditional style of percussion in Japan) drummer which combines rhythmic beats, movement and spirit.  Koshio pushes the boundaries of his style of soul beat music through various collaborations, creating a totally authentic and unique style of music. It is truly an amazing and powerful production and the most exciting performance to reach deep inside of you never seen before. Koshio was born in Nagoya, Japan and has been traveling around the world as a street performer. Since 2004 he based in Phoenix and creating fusion music with Native Americans and different ancestry musicians, dancers and artists to produce something new but it’s relating everybody’s roots. He has been producing so many productions so far. He is not only a musician and producer, but he also acts as a cultural ambassador of Japan and a cultural bridge of the world as a peace activist.  He upraises music as borderless language to create exchanges harmony in this global age instead of creating wars to destroy each other. We know that music and art are one of the great tools to communicate each other.
