Gilbert's Sunday Funday 5K & Brunch Festival provides the perfect opportunity to day-drink and delve into some of the region's best brunch fare, guilt-free, and it's all going down starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 31 in Downtown Gilbert at 102 W. Vaughn Ave in the Heritage District.

First up is the 5K fun run, which will welcome runners of all skill levels as they compete for the coveted Sunday Funday Golden Mimosa on their way to the after-race Brunch Festival at the finish line. There, they'll find a near-endless lineup of brunch offerings alongside an equally impressive assortment of morning cocktails and beer options. From inventive takes on the Bloody Mary and mimosa to an unrivaled selection of brunchtime food options from local restaurants (think bacon, French toast, omelets and donuts, to name a few) there'll be plenty for revelers to sip and sample soon after their feet hit the pavement.

It's also a Fido-friendly event, with a portion of all proceeds benefitting Southwest Human Development, so grab the pups, the guys or gals, or the entire family and make the last Sunday in March one that no one will forget.
