Ballsfest, a nonprofit organization that helps children affected by cancer, is bouncing back to Paradise Valley for its annual fundraising event at Mountain Shadows Resorts on Sunday, March 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Frank DeBlasi, a survivor of testicular cancer and the founder of Ballsfest, created the organization to bring joy to children and young adults battling cancer, AKA “Ballers,” with over-the-top gifts specifically catered to each Baller’s interests or wishes. To keep spirits light, DeBlasi will jokingly roast each Baller during the Sunday Funday style backyard event, before presenting them with an extravagant gift. Past Ballers have received gifts that include a trip to Hawaii, cooking alongside Guy Fieri, a full scholarship to attend college and more. In addition to helping this incredible cause, attendees will get to enjoy a variety of bite-size appetizers, an open bar, live entertainment and games. Tickets are available for purchase and start at $150 each.
