The Arizona Bao Fest will be the place to be to satisfy your bao cravings on March 24th at Unexpected Venue in downtown Phoenix! From 11am-7pm, enjoy steamed buns, gua bao, BBQ pork buns, sweet buns from bakeries, and creative interpretations from over 10 local businesses.

What is a bao? From Food Republic, a bao or known as a steamed bun or baozi is a "complete meal conveniently packed away in a white, warm, soft bun." Or what we like to say, an amazing delicious experience.

WHERE:Unexpected Venue (734 W Polk St, Phoenix, AZ 85007): Central and convenient location easy to get to and right off the I-10. Free street parking at the venue. This is an one of a kind indoor art space with an industrial backyard.

WHEN:Sunday, March 24th // 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Come for lunch, dinner, or both!

WHAT:Explore all the different varieties of bao from traditional to creative interpretations. Each business will be serving up a variety of Asian and fusion dishes along with their baos. You can expect to see noodles, takoyaki, rice bowls, and skewers to name a few! Vegan and gluten free options will be available as well! There will also be boba and other desserts to go with your bao. Enjoy the art while you eat and drink and visit the game room!
