Description

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the leader in the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, is taking Phoenicians beyond state lines for the 3rd consecutive year with the return of its widely successful “St. Jude Presents: A Night In” gala, Saturday, April 5, 2019 at The Clayton House in Old Town Scottsdale.

The one-of-a-kind event, designed to highlight a new destination each year, will bring together Valley residents, philanthropists and humanitarians for “St. Jude Presents: A Night in the Crimson Tide,” an immersive fine dining experience featuring entertainment under the stars.

Paying tribute to the state of Alabama’s southern charm, the cocktail-attire event will feature a unique culinary excellence with signature cocktails, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and special guest appearances from a St. Jude patient and the 2019 honoree of the Letitia Frye Humanitarian Award, Pat Bondurant. Pat is being recognized for her tireless efforts in chairing, volunteering and donating her time and resources to help raise millions of dollars for hundreds of charities, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Recipients of the Letitia Frye Honorary Award are leaders in business and in the community, who dedicate their time, talent and/or treasure to children’s health and wellness. The award was named after its first recipient, Letitia Frye, a philanthropist, “auctiontainer” and Valley native.

Model, television personality and humanitarian Camerone Parker McCulloch and Valley philanthropist Martha Martin are co-chairing the signature event. Proceeds from “A Night in the Crimson Tide” help St. Jude generate the lifesaving results for children and their families and ensure that St. Jude families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
