Description
Kief-Joshua Vineyards in Elgin hosts the nonprofit Chili Appreciation Society International in a professional chili cook-off, featuring Southwest cooks facing off for a spot in the national challenge. Guests can enter the People’s Choice Chili Cook-off at no charge. Local winemakers will also join in the fun for a faux episode of the Food Network’s "Chopped," during which they will compete against one another while pouring samples of their wines for guests to taste.
With a donation of $10, which goes to the Mountain Empire Rotary, guests can taste the competition chili entries, and tickets for five wine tastings are $15.
