Leighton Paul Walsh, better known by his stage name Walshy Fire, is a part of the popular electronic group Major Lazer with fellow DJs Jillonaire and Diplo. Walshy Fire has been the MC for Major Lazer since 2012 and the group released hit single “Cold Water” with Justin Bieber in 2016. “Cold Water” went on to reach number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Walshy Fire has held residencies in Miami and has performed in clubs across the world. His music is inspired by a dancehall reggae sound and he contributed to the release of Major Lazer’s album Peace is the Mission, released in 2015.
