Description

Now in its 36th year, the annual holiday festival will take place on December 1, 2018 and feature carnival rides, live entertainment, food and beverage stations, commercial vendors, free photos with Santa and a tree lighting ceremony and of course the community parade. Festival activities will take place around the Queen Creek Library at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

This year's theme will be Toyland Christmas - A Celebration of Our Favorite Toys

Hosted by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek, proceeds from the festival, which is expected to draw more than 10,000 local residents, will benefit both non-profit agencies and the numerous community initiatives they support.

The parade will take place on Ellsworth Road starting near Sierra Park and concluding just past the Queen Creek Library. It will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will feature more than 80 entries consisting of 1,000 participants representing local clubs, schools, organizations and businesses.

Those interested in participating in the parade are encouraged to go to QueenCreekParade.org and fill out the application.

In addition to the parade, there are a number of other ways the community can get involved with the festival. Local businesses can support the event while promoting their brand by taking advantage of the various sponsorship packages available. Companies and community organizations can also purchase a vendor booth space where they can display and sell their products and services. For those and all other opportunities, such as food vendors and entertainment performers, interested parties can find more information and applications at QueenCreekParade.org. The public can also stay up-to-date by following the festival’s social media pages on Facebook andInstagram.

The festival, which is being produced by Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations, will begin at 12 p.m. with the tree lighting ceremony scheduled to take place at 6 p.m.
