Colleen's Dream, a Scottsdale-based nonprofit that raises funding for cutting-edge ovarian cancer research, introduces the Teal Tie Society, a men’s club dedicated to supporting Colleen’s Dream’s mission. The new group will host the foundation’s annual fall event, Luau for the Dream at the end of September, in commemoration of National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

This will be the first event hosted by the Teal Tie Society. According to Colleen’s Dream co-founders, Nicole and Billy Cundiff, the men’s group provides a unique platform for men to support an inherently female cause by raising awareness and critical funding for ovarian cancer research.

Luau for the Dream will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. In keeping with true luau tradition, attire will be Hawaiian resort-wear, leis will be given at the door, fire and hula dancers will provide the entertainment and there will be a pig roast.  All proceeds from the event will go toward funding ovarian cancer research. The Teal Tie Society, made up of longtime male supporters of Colleen’s Dream Foundation, is an invite-only group.
