The purrfect time to show off your cat-hletisim is right meow, Phoenix! Arizona Animal Welfare League’s first “kitten yoga” class of 2018 is only two weekends away!
Every year, the Arizona Animal Welfare League helps more than 1,300 kittens and cats find homes. Many of these adoptions are happening right now – during peak kitten season. You can meet the Valley’s cutest, cuddliest and most adoptable kittens at AAWL's monthly pop-up adoption shop at Scottsdale Quarter.
For those who want a little extra feline time, the shelter announced the return of kitten yoga on Saturday, July 28! After an hour of downward-facing kittens and cat-tree poses, yogis can stick around for the Kitten Pop-Up Adoption Shop in the same location.
Mat space is limited for kitten yoga, so registration is strongly encouraged. Registration is $20 (or $25 at the door), all of which goes back to the state's oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Visit https://aawl.org/events/kitten-yoga-0 for details.
