Description
National Craft for Your Local Shelter Day is Saturday, July 21, and Lost our Home Pet Rescue in Tempe is celebrating with enrichment activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter. The shelter is located at 2323 S. Hardy Drive in Tempe. Volunteers will be on hand to share with visitors what enrichment is and how it benefits dogs and cats at home and in the shelter environment. There will opportunities for visitors to make enrichment toys and puzzles out of everyday household items which will be provided to them. Visitors can take home the enrichment activities they make to their own pets or donate them to the dogs and cats at the shelter. The event is free and open to the public.
