“Stay Classy, Sassy and a Little Bad Assy” Ladies Only Bartender Competition

We are Looking for Phoenix’s Best Lady Bartender!

Hey there Bad Ass Bartender! Who helped you become the strong, empowered woman you are today? Azuñia Tequila wants to hear your story via our love language: cocktails. To participate, share your well-balanced cocktail recipe, along with its inspiration. Eight finalists will automatically be entered in the Live Competition at Tuck Shop on May 21st for a shot at the “Staycation” grand prize, plus earn the coveted title of “Best Lady Bartender of Phoenix.”

Requirements:

• Must currently be an active bartender in the Phoenix metro-area
• 1.5 oz minimum use of Azuñia Tequila
• No more than 7 ingredients permitted in the recipe, including garnish
• House-made ingredients okay but must able to provide the recipe
• Please share 1 paragraph for your cocktail’s inspiration
• Must be available to compete in the live competition May 21st, 2018

When: May 21st, 2018, 2-4 pm
Where: Female-owned and operated, Tuck Shop, 2245 N. 12th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85006
Judges: All Female Judging Panel

Competition Timeline:

March 28th – Request for Online Submissions
April 15th – Online recipe submissions due at midnight MST
May 1st – Top 8 finalists notified via email
May 21st – Live competition at Tuck Shop

Prizes:

Grand Prize
1-night stay at local resort, including dinner & spa package ($1,000)

2nd Prize
Dinner for 2 at a local restaurant + Rodan & Fields skincare ($300)

3rd Prize
Azuñia tequila yoga + beach kit ($100)

About the Competition

This competition, like estate-grown Azuñia organic tequila, is for women who believe in quality and balance in life. Many of us in the Food & Beverage Industry work strenuous hours day and night, taking a toll on our bodies. Azuñia, in conjunction with women-owned Tuck Shop and the Phoenix Bartenders’ Guild, wants to remind you about the importance of  balancing your life just like you balance your cocktails. We encourage bartenders to take time for yourself so you can have longevity in this industry.

Not only do we want to promote women in this industry who make balanced cocktails, but we also want to encourage living a well-balanced life. Come cheer on your local ladies, plus learn how to promote health and wellness in your life. Health and Wellness Industry Professionals from Crossfit, BodybyCor, massage, and nutrition will be there to answer questions, offer demos and awesome giveaways to everyone who attends!
