2018 Mayor’s International, An Evening in Ennis, Ireland:
Join Phoenix Sister Cities for The Mayor’s International – an Evening in Ennis, Ireland from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at The Van Buren in downtown Phoenix. Grab some pub grub where Ennis meets Phoenix (Irish food with a Southwestern flare), enjoy traditional Irish music by De Mairt Ceol (Tuesday Music) and dance by the Bracken School of Irish Dance.
In honor of the Emerald Isle, Phoenix Sister Cities will be giving away a one-carat emerald as a door prize. The event also includes a Silent Auction, featuring spectacular experiences, and a drawing – the prize for which is $3000 cash PLUS two round-trip, economy class tickets to any one of Phoenix’s ten sister cities.
Among the esteemed guests will be a delegation from Ennis, Ireland, including the Mayor of Ennis and the Mayor of Clare. And…last but not least, Dr. Michael Crow will be honored with the Global Citizen Award.
