In this presentation Eumie Imm Stroukoff pays tribute to the vibrant life and legacy of artist Georgia O’Keeffe (1887-1986). Culled from O’Keeffe’s writings and words, as well as the personal stories of those she mentored, Stroukoff gives insight into the artist’s adventurous, vibrant and long life, and paints a picture of a woman worthy of celebration.

Stroukoff manages the fellowship program, oral history project and Book Prize at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is also the current president of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), the national organization for art information professionals, and holds an M.A. in art history from the University of Cincinnati and an M.S. in library and information service from Columbia University.

This program is presented in conjunction with Scottsdale Arts, Scottsdale Artists’ School and Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West. RSVP is required; please call Visitor Services at 480-686-9539 ext. 200 to reserve your seat.
