Butterfly Wonderland & OdySea Aquarium present their first annual biggest bug bash of the year at OdySea in the Desert on Sunday, March 11 featuring cockroach races, edible insect treats, build a bug & insect greeting card crafts for children, and an insect petting zoo featuring giant katydids, millipedes, and tarantulas from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Other event activities will include a Name a Cockroach station with a personalized naming certificate, roach name card, and photograph; Scorpion Sweepers station where guests can learn about which species are friendly and which to avoid; a Butterfly Gardening Station teaching families about what plants attract butterflies to gardens; a Bee Station by Rango Honey to meet bee experts, learn the importance of pollinators and sample local honey; as well as a Canine Bed Bug Detection station with doggie professionals and their trainers to learn about pest prevention.

This event is free and recommended for bug-lovers of all ages.
