Description
2018 Annual Mingus Mountain Academy Black and White Gala will be hosted in Scottsdale at the Orange Tree Golf Resort. This fun event creates awareness and raises money for students entering the "Lifetime Commitment Program".
Mingus Mountain Academy is a non profit 501-C3 Residential Treatment Facility treating young ladies from 12-18 years old. Our program combines positive peer culture, caring staff, careful medical treatment, psychotherapy, and education, and numerous activities, including our unique equestrian program. Because many of these students who come to us have experienced significant trauma, our treatment team and staff are specially trained to address these issues within our safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
The Lifetime Commitment Program is scholarship assistance for graduating students. We offer this program to help further education, career training, housing, or whatever applicable resources are need to live independently.
The event begins at 6:00 pm. Dinner and Lifetime Commitment Program presentation begins at 7:00 pm with Live Entertainment from the Lucky Devils at 8:00 pm, as well as, auction, Balloon Pop raffle, and more.
