Flagstaff, Ariz., (Jan. 29, 2018) – Pepsi Amphitheater (@PepsiAmpFlag and Facebook.com/flagstaffamp) and Stateside Presents are proud to announce the opening show of the 2018 season with indie rock band Modest Mouse, Wed., May 16, 8pm.  Gates open at 7pm.

Established more than 26 years ago in Washington, Modest Mouse has a unique success story in the indie rock genre. Modest Mouse released their breakthrough album Good News For People Who Love Bad News in 2004. The album included the hit single “Float On,” which sold over 1.5 million copies and earned two Grammy nominations. In 2007, the band released their studio album We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank that immediately topped the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #1. Since then, the band has continued to lead the way for indie rock with their last studio album Strangers to Ourselves reaching #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Performing since 1997, Modest Mouse delivers a dynamic song lineup each show. 

Modest Mouse kicks off their 2018 tour April 18 in Birmingham, Alabama and takes the stage under the Ponderosa Pines of Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill Park May 16 in their only Arizona performance.

LOCATION. Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill County Park is located within the Fort Tuthill Coconino County Park complex, 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Take I-17, Airport Exit 337 and continue west into Fort Tuthill County Park.  Follow the loop road until reaching the ‘Amphitheater’ sign.
