Join three-time World Series-winning Manager and Baseball Hall of Famer Tony La Russa alongside Major League Baseball’s biggest stars for Dinner of Champions, returning to Steak 44 in Phoenix on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Dinner of Champions benefits the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), a national leader in animal welfare. "People Rescuing Animals… Animals Rescuing People®" isn't simply a slogan, but ARF’s everyday work, including a special emphasis on matching veterans with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and other service-related challenges with ARF-rescued and trained service dogs. 

Best known for his tenures as manager of the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals, former front office manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks and now as vice president, special assistant to the president of baseball operations for the Boston Red Sox, La Russa is excited to kick off the 2018 season off with this annual fundraiser.

The foundation saves dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each other's lives. A careful steward of their support with 87 cents of every dollar going directly to programs, ARF recently earned Charity Navigator’s highest four-star rating for ten consecutive years. Only one percent of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive this distinction.
