Description

The Good Life Festival™ at Encanterra®, a Trilogy® Resort Community announced today the return of the anticipated spring concert series on March 3 and April 28. Known for bringing Valley residents together to enjoy an afternoon of libations and national musical talent, The Good Life Festival™ will once again rock the East Valley with a star-studded lineup in spring 2018.

The Festival, entering its eighth season, will welcome Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett and The Blackhearts with Cheap Trick and Country star Jake Owen to the stage. Unique to any music and lifestyle experience in the Valley, the public festival invites over 5,000 guests of all ages to celebrate food, artisan shopping and great music in an outdoor setting overlooking breathtaking resort grounds.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts and Cheap Trick will set the bar for a hard-rocking concert series this season as they kick-off The Good Life Festival with a co-headline concert on March 3. Between eight platinum and gold albums, nine Top 40 singles, and creating an independent record label, Blackheart Records, Joan Jett is known as an originator, innovator and visionary of rock music. With classics like “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” and “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” Jett’s music has permanently impacted pop-culture.

Since 1974, Cheap Trick has been an indisputable American institution beloved for their distinct and influential sounds of pop rock and roll. Fans at the March 3 show will jam to hits like “Surrender,” “I Want You To Want Me” and the worldwide No. 1 hit single, “The Flame” as well as new sounds from their eighteenth studio album, We’re All Alright.

More of “The Good Life” can be celebrated on April 28, when Jake Owen takes the stage. The 2012 American Country Awards Breakthrough Artist of the Year has gained recent momentum from his fifth studio album, American Love. Owen has received acclaim for several award-winning, number one hits- “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “The One That Got Away,” “Beachin,” “Alone with You” and “Anywhere with You.”

The spring festival experience includes a day and evening full of music, specialty artisan shopping, wine and craft beer tasting, cooking demonstrations hosted by an Executive Chef, massage demos from Alvea Spa, and delicious bites from local vendors and food trucks.

Fans are invited to enjoy wine tasting, music and more in Encanterra’s Model Home Gallery from noon to 2 p.m. Venue gates open at 2 p.m. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 2. Visit TheGoodLifeFest.com to purchase tickets and read more about the festival.
