Hubbard Sports Camp During Winter Break

If you’re looking to keep your child happy, active, and “not bored” during the long winter break from school, Hubbard Sports Camp will offer an exciting Winter Sports Camp for children, ages 4 to 13, at Thunderbird Academy in Scottsdale. Kids will get to learn and play the following sports: basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, archery, field sports, and a variety of indoor and outdoor games. The camp is offered in full-day and half-day options. Camp dates are: Dec. 27 - 29 and Jan. 2 - 5. Parents may choose one or more days for their child to attend. There is a full-day option from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a half-day option from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Cost: $50 full-day; $35 half-day. Doors open at 8 a.m. Extended care is also available for $15 per child from 3:45 to 6 p.m. Full-day campers must bring their own self-cooled lunches.

Children do not have to be skilled athletes to have a great time at Hubbard Sports Camp. Some campers have never tried many of the sports and activities that the staff introduces them to. However, the campers who are skilled athletes are challenged and motivated by the highly-qualified and dedicated staff members. The main goal at camp is to make some new friends and learn some new sports!
