Description

Maybe you have a long friendship with the classical music of the past and today, or maybe you have just a passing acquaintance but would like to know more. Maybe you’re not exactly sure how to listen to the world’s great concert music.

Bring your casual clothes, an appetite and an open, fun attitude to the University Club of Phoenix for a night of musical exploration at the Music Explorer’s Guide: Mozart (click for flyer). We will provide a real-life “Listening Guide” who will make you think, feel and laugh with a performance of Mozart’s Quintet K. 452.

We will set you at ease about classical music while giving you some guide posts to grab on to as you hear some of the valley’s finest musicians playing Mozart’s Quintet of 1784 in a comfortable living room setting.

Featuring musicians:

Marc Goldstick, oboe
Mary Jackson, clarinet
Kristilyn Woods, bassoon
Martha Sharpe, horn

Michael Shui, piano
Donald Harvey, Listening Guide
