For the 16th consecutive year, Outlets at Anthem will welcome and place the state’s largest fresh-cut Christmas tree! The tree is decked with 80 strands of LED lights stretching a total length of 8,000 feet or 1.5 miles and more than 5,000 ornaments and large fabric bows. The Outlets at Anthem Christmas tree comes from Northern California owned by a private timber company. Prior to its harvesting, a team of foresters gather cones from trees in the area. Seeds from the cones are extracted and genetically analyzed to find seeds with the strongest genetic factors and then planted. For every tree harvested, approximately 20 trees are replanted in the vicinity.

• This year’s tree is 80-ft. tall topped with a copper star
• The tree’s width is approximately 22 feet across
• More than 1.5 miles of LED lights are used to decorate the tree
• More than 5,000 ornaments and bows decorate the tree
• To secure the tree, it is lowered into a specially designed, permanent 3-ft.-wide by 7-ft.-deep well.
• Six guy wires are attached to the top portion of the tree to keep it steady and secure throughout the holiday season.
