Something wicked is coming to the Science Center this October. Family Fright Night will open its doors the eve of Friday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Heritage & Science Park and Arizona Science Center. The evening includes frightfully fun science activities and demos, costume contest, and a special Halloween Laser Show. The event includes:

Fright Light Laser Show at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $9 for non-members and $8 for members. The show begins with "Thriller," followed by the Monster Medley, the "Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters," and music from Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Will Smith and Garbage. 

Extreme Weather at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.95 for non-members, $6.95 (children 3–17); $4.95 members (adults), $3.95 (children 3–17). Get closer than you’ve ever been to collapsing glaciers, out-of-control wildfires, and tornado-whipped debris and discover the surprising connections among these powerful forces.
