Description

Fans of polka music, German food and craft beer will don their lederhosen and dirndls as they gather on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 3 to 11 p.m. at Dr AJ Chandler Park, in downtown Chandler.

National headlining entertainment will be provided by Reel Big Fish, and Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. Oktoberfest will also feature live polka music and local bands on two stages. Other highlights include a beer pong tournament, bag toss, wiener dog races, wiener man races, stein holding, keg stacking and tricycle races. The Oktoberfest beer games are held on the main lawn from 3 to 7 p.m.

A celebration of SanTan Brewing’s 10th annual Oktoberfest, this Bavarian style party of epic proportions will feature a beer garden where thirsty patrons will enjoy SanTan’s Oktoberfest lager. Oktoberfest is a traditional German lager boasting a toasty strong malt profile with a clean and crisp lager flavor, ABV 5.5 percent. SanTan will also pour their core beers and other seasonal offerings.

SanTan Brewing  - brats, pretzels, mac & cheese

Big Ray’s – Brats, assorted sausages and sides

Brat Haus – brats, pretzels, cheese fundido

BadgerCat - Deep Fried Cheese Curds

The Hitching Post – BBQ sandwiches, kabobs, loaded potatoes

Honey Bear’s BBQ – pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac & cheese, street corn, coleslaw, beans

Hummus Xpress – Gyro, falafel, assorted hummus flavors

Mustache Pretzels – original, cinnamon sugar, garlic parm and nut pretzels, pretzel dogs

San Francisco Chocolate Factory – candy apples and other chocolate confections

Tom’s BBQ – BBQ nachos, mac – n- cheese, BBQ sandwiches

Waffle Love AZ – Liege waffles, strawberries n cream, chocolate dream, Nutella and cinnamon 

Also – patrons will enjoy burgers, brats, wood fired pizza, cookies, kettle corn, snow cones and more.

 

General Admission is $10 at any valley Basha's location until Sept. 30, $12 online presale, $15 walk up/gate price, and kids 12 and under are free.

GA does not include food or beverage. A portion of the proceeds from the SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest benefit St. Joseph the Worker, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the homeless, low income and other disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient through quality employment.
