Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

UMOM New Day Centers invites community members on Saturday, Sept. 23, to join the 2017 Walk for Homeless Families and Youth at the Phoenix Zoo. From 6:30 to 8 a.m., participants will attend pre-walk festivities, including booths with Even Stevens, Sprouts, Circle K and more. The walk begins at 8 a.m. and the event ends at 9 a.m. UMOM Senior Executives including CEO Darlene Newsom, Chief Development Officer Melissa Steimer and Development Director Dana Bailey will be available for interview. There will be activities for kids, too, including a bounce house and face painting, among others. The mission for this event is to raise money and raise awareness around the multiple issues of homelessness.
