Pepsi Amphitheater (@PepsiAmpFlag and Facebook.com/flagstaffamp) is proud to present Slightly Stoopid Sounds of Summer Tour with special guests Iration, J Boog and The Movement, Wed., Aug. 16, 5:30 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
Slightly Stoopid, the Ocean Beach, California based group led by co-founders and multi-instrumentalists Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, formed in 1994 and released their first album in 1996 titled, Slightly $toopid. Five years and three albums later, the group solidified a new line-up adding drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran; percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon; saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz to the group and released the album Closer to the Sun which debuted in the Billboard Top 200 chart. Their latest studio album, Meanwhile…Back at the Lab, was released in June 2015 and reached No. 3 of Billboard’s Independent Album and Modern Rock/Alternative Album charts.
This year Slightly Stoopid kicks off their 2017 ‘Sounds of Summer’ tour June 8 in Glen Allen, Virginia and takes the stage in the Ponderosa Pines of Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill Park Aug. 16 in their only Arizona performance.
TICKETS. General admission tickets are $35. County Special general admission tickets are $25 with proof of residency within Coconino County; limited availability. Stoopidhead pakage is $99 and includes one general admission ticket, early entry into the venue, exclusive 7” vinyl copy of "Stay The Same/Prayer For You,” specially designed tour poster (limited print), Slightly Stoopid beach towel, Slightly Stoopid beach bag and collectible Slightly Stoopid pin. LOCATION. Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill County Park is located within the Fort Tuthill Coconino County Park complex, 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Take I-17, Airport Exit 337 and continue west into Fort Tuthill County Park. Follow the loop road until reaching the ‘Amphitheater’ sign.
