Laurel DeWitt, George Styler, Allie Teilz and Becki Coakley announced as designers for March 4 exhibition

Scottsdale Fashion Week (SFW) presented by Purely Sedona announces renowned fashion icons Laurel DeWitt, Becki Coakley, George Styler and Allie Teilz as featured designers for the Metal + Mirrors runway show on Saturday, March 4 and the return of Hair Wars Showcase on Sunday, March 5. Tickets are available now at scottsdalefashionweek.com.

Saturday night’s festivities take place at Livewire in the heart of the Scottsdale entertainment district. Doors open at 8 p.m. The event kicks off with a special exhibition by distinguished local shoe designer Becki Coakley. Coakley is known around the world for her eye catching designs that combine modern elegance with classic chic. Guests will have the chance to take an intimate look at some of Coakley’s latest designs in an innovative display.

Acclaimed designer Laurel DeWitt will showcase her latest collection as part of SFW’s runway presentation, Metal + Mirrors. DeWitt found her niche by reimagining the way metal is used in apparel and accessories. Her stunning creations have been worn by many celebrities including Beyonce, Amber Rose, will.i.am, Steve Aoki, Lenny Kravitz, Lady Gaga and others. DeWitt will also participate in a brunch Q&A panel discussion at Dakota on March 3.

Award-winning international designer George Styler will also exhibit his latest collection during the Saturday night show. Styler is known for creating daring ethno style ensembles that embody freedom of mind and spirit. His work has been featured in Vogue, Glamour and Vangardist, among many others.

Nationally acclaimed DJ, fashion designer and Arizona native Allie Teilz will present her new collection. Teilz will provide the soundtrack to her show by deejaying as models walk down the runway in her garments. In late 2016, Teilz launched her affordable luxury suit line which provides “rock and roll swagger” for men and women alike. The musician-turned-designer has also deejayed at many star-studded events, including official parties for the Grammys, Golden Globes, Emmys, Vanity Fair and others. She will also lend her deejaying skills to the official SFW after party taking place immediately after the show at Livewire.

The following evening, Sunday, March 5, SFW presents the Hair Wars Showcase, an up close and personal look at local salon artists’ most inventive and ambitious hairstyles. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to come early and watch the stylists craft their hair creations.

VIP, GA and student tickets are available for both events. Student ticket holders must show valid student ID to enter. Standing room only tickets are available for Saturday night’s runway event. The Hair Wars Showcase and Metal + Mirrors runway show are open to all ages, however, those who wish to purchase alcohol must show ID at the door.
