With the economy on the upswing and the demand for RVs rising alongside it, it’s the perfect time for the inaugural Good Sam RV Super Show to roll into Phoenix International Raceway.

Join thousands of attendees and industry experts Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, through Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at Phoenix International Raceway located at 7602 S Avondale Blvd., Avondale, to shop hundreds of towable and motorized RVs, travel trailers and folding campers from today’s top manufacturers. In addition to giving guests a chance to check out a broad range of RVs designed to accommodate every lifestyle, the event will feature all-day entertainment each day for children and adults, seminars for current and prospective RV owners and plenty of exhibits and giveaways.

Special event highlights include the Good Sam BBQ Showdown, which is slated for Feb. 24 - 25 and will feature top BBQ teams competing in four categories: chicken, pork ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket. Proceeds from the showdown will benefit Cure SMA. Guests can also try their luck behind the wheel of a real, NASCAR-style racecar by taking part in the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience, enjoy live musical performances Friday and Saturday night and hone their skills at RV seminars where Camping World’s Ralph Miller will offer tips on everything from towing and hauling to safe motor home operation.

Expect plenty to keep the little travelers busy, too. Carnival rides, face painters, a petting zoo and a scavenger hunt are just some of what’s in store when the Good Sam RV Super Show makes its way to the desert, and a Saturday night fireworks show only sweetens the deal for attendees and overnight campers.

The Good Sam RV Super Show features an abundance of new 2017 recreation vehicles and a broad inventory with numerous floor plans and models to meet every budget. Dry camping is available for RVers planning to stay throughout the weekend, and daily passes are also available for non-camping customers.

The show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Daily admission rates start as low as $10 for adults, and admission is free for children under 13.
