Taught by Jodi Kaye, a registered nurse and parenting educator, Kaye owns a puberty education business called The Rites of Passage. Her business slogan is: “Puberty is tough. Talking about it shouldn’t be.”
The “Changing U” class for mothers and daughters will be taught from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the new Sugar Happy bakery & coffee café, 14204 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 167, Scottsdale. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. there will also be a fun-filled cupcake decorating class taught by KK Campilongo, professional baker and owner of the new Sugar Happy café. All the girls will get to take home a box of beautiful cupcakes with them. This entire learning event is sure to be a sweet and memorable one.
Cost: $90 mother/1 daughter; $125 mother/2 daughters. Delicious pastries and refreshments will be served. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited. To register, call Jodi Kaye at (480) 250-2431. For more information about The Rites of Passage, visit www.theritesofpassage.biz
