Mother's Day at Modern Steak
Modern Steak, a new twist on the traditional steakhouse is serving a three course, prix-fixe menu for $30 per person Mother’s Day weekend, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 9. The restaurant’s dinner menu will be served from 4 to close. From the prix-fixe menu, first course selections include Mini Donuts with strawberry preserves; Lobster Chowder “New England Style;” and a Chopped Salad with avocado, crisp vegetables, parmesan, and champagne vinaigrette. A variety of entrée items will be available, such as Wild Berry Pancakes with orange cream and breakfast potatoes; Artichoke Tortelli with roasted mushrooms and asparagus; and Braised Short Rib and Egg Sandwich with avocado and roasted tomato.
At Modern Steak, decadent dessert selections finish the meal, including Peanut Butter Cup with Valrhona Chocolate Ganache and a house cookie, or Chocolate Pound Cake with citrus marmalade and chocolate pastry cream.
