Second up in our series, chairs! Chairs tend to be an afterthought for most brides.  Many fail to realize the statement that this piece of furniture can make. A chair can act as an accessory does for your wardrobe.  It helps bring the whole look together.  Most venues have a banquet chair that is available at no cost to clients, but often these chairs don’t fit with the wedding décor.  The most widely rented chair due to availability and cost is the traditional chiavari chair. Chiavari chairs are available through many rental companies. They come in a range of colors including silver, gold, black and white. You can also choose a colored seat cushion or hard pad which allows you to customize the look to match your design. Classic Party Rentals offers a wide selection.

Classic Party Rentals also now rents the Chameleon Chair line. There are so many great chairs from Chameleon that brides always tend to have a few favorites! Chameleon chairs are a perfect fit for the bride who isn’t afraid to have some fun. The variations in this line are limitless you can go simple and sleek or frilly and feminine.

The sexiest chair is the ghost chair. These chairs were designed by the famous Philippe Starck. His ability to mix the functional and emotional with an everyday object like a chair is magic! The ghost chair comes in two styles; the feminine and smaller one is called “Victoria” and comes in several colors as shown below.

The second style of ghost chair is called “Louis.”  It is a sturdier masculine looking chair. It comes in white, black, amber and clear. The ghost chair can be shipped from LA to Phoenix.  The chairs are not inexpensive, but they make a statement.

This is just a small sampling of types of chairs that are available. Be sure to share your desired look with your wedding designer so that they may introduce you to more possibilities. Today’s brides are looking to for the unfamiliar in weddings, something that is unique to their special day. Chairs can do that with the ability to enhance an environment.  Make sure to come back for the remaining topics in the five-part series, “Wedding Décor to Die For”. Still in the line- up is the latest in dance floors, tables, floral and lounge furniture.
