Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) and Cox Communications have teamed up to launch PCH 1, a new internal TV channel for patients and families designed to answer common questions and reduce the anxiety that occurs when a child is going through treatment at the hospital. The new channel debuts during National Hospital Week, May 6 – 12.

United Food Bank is calling for the help of the public to fill its empty shelves. In the past three months, they have distributed a record high of 6 million pounds of food- an average of 2 million pounds per month!

While it looks like these numbers are a good sign, getting so much food out the door into the hands of the people who need it, it actually reflects a serious problem. The need has increased so much in the past year that United Food Bank must continue to provide more and more food to meet that rising need.

Scottsdale Fashion Square will host the Face of Foothills 2013 model Casting Call from 11am-1pm on Saturday, May 5th, in the Barneys wing.

Aspiring models are invited to experience the FREE modeling workshop from noon-1pm hosted by the experts from local modeling agency, The Agency Arizona.

Arizona Foothills Magazineis hosting the Face of Foothills 2013 Casting Call at Chandler Fashion Center, this Saturday, April 28th from 11 am to 1 pm. Join in for an amazing afternoon of music, food and beverages. The casting call will be held outside the Gap wing. There will be a DJ as well as fresh bites from Paradise Bakery, make up tricks by Bare Escentuals and hair touch ups by Aveda.
