Hop Over to Scottsdale Fashion Square for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
On Saturday, April 5th families are invited to come dressed in their spring best to enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny in the Dillard’s / Neiman Marcus court. From 8:30a – 10a guests will enjoy a gourmet buffet breakfast by M Catering, entertainment and activities. Children’s spring fashions to be presented by Dillard’s and all child attendees will receive a free Children’s admission ticket to Butterfly Wonderland (ages 3 to 11). Arizona Foothills is excited to announce the Face of Foothills 2015 Model Search Casting Calls!
The 2015 Face of Foothills Contest will be divided into three categories:
Face of Foothills: ages 18 & up
Teen Future Face: ages 14 – 17
Scottsdale Business Owner Funds Nepal Orphanage
At this year's Sedona Film Festival, David Neishabori of AZADI Fine Rugs and one of Arizona Foothills Magazine's Most Eligible Phoenicians, surprised producers of the film "Waiting for Mamu" with a surprise donation of a year’s worth of rent for a Nepal orphanage. "Waiting for Mamu" is a a film by Morgan Spurlock and Susan Sarandon about the CNN 2012 Hero of the Year, Pushpa Basnet. The orphanage that Neishabori donated to, Butterfly Home, was created as a safe haven for children whose parents have been imprisoned; otherwise, children whose parents are sent to prison and who lack other guardians are locked away...
Kevin Binkley Nominated for James Beard Award
A big congrats to Kevin Binkley who was nominated for Best Chef: Southwest for this year's James Beard Foundation Awards. Binkley heads up Binkley's in Cave Creek, Cafe Bink, Bink's Midtown and the newly opened Bink's Scottsdale. (Binkley's wife, Amy, was one of Arizona Foothills Magazine's 2014 Women Who Move the Valley.) The awards ceremony takes place in early May.
