It’s official. He got down on one knee, you said yes and he placed the ring on your finger. It’s the beginning of your real life fairy tale. It’s a story that you will tell your children, and your children’s children.

This story, of love, only has one tangible item:: The Ring. That blingy little thing that sits perfectly on your left hand waiting to tell the world how much you love your fiancé.

Its fifteen minutes of fame doesn’t stop there it goes on forever and ever.

Prior to getting married you and your photographer should come up with a list of shots. These this is called a “shot list”….go figure…it helps remind the planner and photographer all of the little details that you wanted to capture the day you say “I do”.

One of our personal favorite shots is the ring shots. THIS is where the ring is once again, front and center, hogging the spotlight.

These shots are fun and creative, giving your wedding day more of an “editorial” feel. From hanging off the bride’s shoe, sitting on your grandmother’s bible, or laying next to your wedding ring on a beautiful solid wood table.

Getting ring shots is easily forgotten during the hustle and bustle of your wedding day. There is so many important moments that sometimes details tend to be pushed aside

{we HAVE to chime in….this is one of the many reasons why you hire a wedding planner!!!!}

By putting the shots you want on a list for your photographer this will not only help you remember but will give your photographer time to get creative.

Rings shots can add in details about the couple that can’t nessicarily be added in on any other part of the day. By placing rings on something that is meaningful to the couple, or a represents a hobby that they like to do together the picture then turns into a speech about the bride & groom’s relationship.
