Grass Clippings Rolling Hills is the first fully lit 18-hole golf course in Arizona, and an absolute must-play spot in the valley. Located at the base of the Papago Buttes, it is five minutes from Arizona State University, Downtown Phoenix, and Old Town Scottsdale. The sunsets are unreal whether you're just starting your round, renting a range bay with Toptracer tech, or dining at the Sonoran live-fire cuisine inspired restaurant, Glenrosa. In 1960, Milton Coggins and company designed the front nine. Twenty-seven years later, Gary Panks, an Arizona native, designed the back nine in 1987. The course remains one of three public golf courses in Tempe and is the home of the Grass League. This immaculate facility comprises an 18-hole Executive Golf Course, 18-hole Par 3 Golf Course at night, and 93 acres in the heart of Arizona is a sight to see.
