Things I Know To Be True
Presented exclusively by the Herberger Theater, Things I Know To Be True is a beautiful and painfully perceptive portrait of a family and the frictions that arise when grown-up children try to push beyond the confines of their loving parents’ expectations. A complex and intense study of the mechanics of a family and the dangers of unarticulated emotions, this gripping new play is both profoundly moving and brutally frank. Ticket prices and show times vary. For more information on this event, click here.
Suzanne Westenhoeffer Live
Suzanne Westenhoeffer has been doing standup around the country for over 25 years. Westenhoeffer tells the truth, and the truth is life is funny, especially when it’s fermented in Westenhoeffer’s mind. That’s why she could never be in the closet, making her a trailblazer when she started doing stand-up in the 1990’s. She was the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO special and to be on “Late Night with David Letterman.” Admission tickets start at $22; the show begins at 7 p.m. For more information on this event, click here
