Communities across Arizona came together in a powerful show of generosity during the annual Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s, raising a record-breaking $2.45 million to support the hospital’s world-class pediatric care. Held from August 18-22, the week-long radiothon continues to stand as the most successful of its kind.
The Give-A-Thon inspired over 1,000 individuals to become Champions of Hope: monthly donors who commit to a $20 gift or a one-time donation of $240. Each Champion of Hope has a teddy bear donated in their name to a current patient, bringing a sense of comfort to children undergoing treatment.
“The Give-A-Thon is proof of the incredible generosity here in Arizona - when the call goes out, people step up to ensure every child has access to the world-class care they need and deserve,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund, which supports the hospital’s most urgent needs, including groundbreaking research, advanced medical technologies, and the recruitment of top-tier physicians. These funds also help implement programs that enhance the hospital experience for children and families.
“Thanks to our incredible sponsors across Arizona, we can continue advancing lifesaving research, recruiting world-class physicians, and providing the compassionate, family-centered care that every child deserves,” added Tim Harrison, vice president and head of corporate partnerships & special events at Phoenix Children’s.
The 2026 Give-A-Thon is already on the calendar, but those who missed this year’s event can still donate at GiveathonForPCH.org.
